There are no sponsored slots, featured listings or paid positions on STR Select. Listing, claiming a profile, the ranking badge and lead matching are all free. None of them can be bought and none of them changes a position.
Every published fact links to where it came from and carries the month we checked it. When we cannot confirm something, the page says not published or not verified. We do not estimate a fee, a portfolio size or a rating to fill a gap.
A review counts only when the reviewer connects a LinkedIn profile and an editor approves it. We reject anonymous reviews, reviews from competitors in either direction and vague praise with no detail. Reviews show on a company once it has 2 approved.
Some of the people behind STR Select work with companies we cover. Where that is true, the page that ranks the company says so in plain text next to the list. Companies with a relationship are scored on the same sourced facts as everyone else.
Any company can claim its listing and send a correction, and anyone can report an error to listings@strselect.com. We correct a sourced error without argument, tell the sender which source we used and update the date on the page.
Owner requests go to eligible companies one at a time in a published order. Taking part never moves a ranking. The rules are on the lead matching page.
