2. Studio Host Virtual STR design with a done with you option
Best for: Vacation rental investors who want a small studio to research the market, choose every piece and hand over a finished design, or who want to design it themselves with templates and support
Studio Host is a two person studio led by founder and designer Sarah Glidewell, with Ethan Glidewell on operations; its footer says it was established in 2025. Its design page sells to vacation rental investors and calls the Done for you tier a virtual interior design service. That tier lists market and competitor research, design direction and concept, furniture, fixture, finish and decor selections, a complete FF&E budget with sourcing links, floor plans and space planning. The Done with you tier is a 3 month membership with more than 10 hours of vacation rental design education, templates, sourcing spreadsheets and access to trained virtual assistants. The homepage describes the first consultation as a free working call. It ranks second because it is rental focused, states virtual delivery and offers a free consultation, which Somerled Designs does not state. The limits are that no price is printed on the pages we read and the studio is new. It also sells renderings and videography, which are outside this category.
