Printed design fees for a short term rental run from $199 per room to $3,000 for a 4 room package. The cheap end is Havenly at $199 per room on its list price. The expensive end is Paper & Onyx at $2,999 per room for its Pinnacle tier, or $3,000 for four rooms at Bohemian Bungalow Design. Three of the eight ranked studios, Cynthia Stays Curated, Studio Host and Somerled Designs, publish no price at all and offer a free first consultation instead. Bohemian Bungalow Design prints no one room price, so the cell reads Not published. Its packages come to $800 per room at two rooms, about $667 at three and $750 at four. Decorilla’s room prices vary by room type and are in the table above.
Two readings follow from the printed numbers. First, a bundle can undercut per room tiers: four rooms cost $3,000 from Bohemian Bungalow Design against $3,996 for the entry tier at Paper & Onyx, though the two sell different deliverables and the first is a regional studio with a Zoom call included. Second, the cheapest per room price is not the cheapest project. Havenly at $199 per room is the lowest list price in the table, yet its pricing page shows no short term rental offer, so the design brief for a guest facing rental is yours to supply.
Cynthia Stays Curated sells Vision, Craft and Execute virtual packages and states that the first design consultation is free. Package prices come after that conversation. Studio Host offers a free consultation and prints no figure on the pages read on October 19, 2026. Somerled Designs does the same on the homepage read on October 15, 2026. For all three we show Not published in the table, and we do not publish a range, an average or a guess, because a guess would sit in the same column as real printed prices and look like one.
Practically, that means a free first call is the cost of learning the price. Ask each for the fee for your room count in writing, whether ordering and installation are included or separate, and the turnaround. Cynthia Stays Curated states one to two weeks for a Vision package and two to four weeks for Craft and Execute, and says every package is delivered virtually. Every figure in this guide is a design fee. The plan, the boards, the floor layout and the shopping list are what you buy. Beds, sofas, linens and lighting are separate. Bohemian Bungalow Design states design and sourcing only with furnishings extra. Havenly says the client shops from the list. Decorilla and Paper & Onyx deliver shopping lists with links. Cynthia Stays Curated offers ordering management as an option, and states a figure of its own for scale: a well designed $5,000 refresh can outperform an unfocused $20,000 renovation on listing platforms. That line is the studio’s opinion, not a measured result.
Three smaller items change the real number. Havenly’s $99 online price was a promotion ending Tuesday 10/20 on the day we read the page, and its in-person price showed $349 against a $699 list. Bohemian Bungalow Design’s DesignFiles page also sells in-home Design Concierge tiers from $2,000 to $6,500 with home visits, which are not virtual and are not counted in the $3,000 high end above.
